The Risk We Address
Confined spaces are among the most hazardous work environments, with dangers such as toxic gases, oxygen depletion, and restricted escape routes. In distilleries, the presence of flammable vapours and enclosed fermentation areas adds extra risk. This course teaches participants to recognise, assess, and control these hazards to keep themselves and others safe.
Skills and Knowledge Gained
Participants will develop the competence to identify and manage hazards, conduct atmospheric testing, and use safety equipment such as gas monitors and PPE correctly. Hands-on exercises reinforce safe entry practices and emergency responses, ensuring delegates are confident and compliant when working in confined spaces.

Certification gained
Certificates are awarded after successful completion of the course and will be valid for a three year period, after which recertification must take place.
