Why take this course?

Operating overhead cranes without proper training can be hazardous. This course ensures delegates are competent and able to carry out lifts safely, protecting people, equipment and materials.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Did the 5 day forklift training course and thought it was really good from start to finish. John was a great instructor, explained everything clearly and got the balance between theory and practical spot on.
The practical side was really well set up too, with plenty of different exercises and some good challenging setups like chicanes and tighter manoeuvres, so you were actually learning how to control the forklift properly rather than just going through the motions.
By the end of the week I felt confident that I could operate a forklift safely and properly. Would definitely recommend Rizon Training and John to anyone looking to do their forklift training.

The Risk We Address

Crane operations carry risks such as dropped loads, collisions, equipment damage and injury. Delegates learn to identify hazards, implement controls and follow safe working practices.

Skills and Knowledge Gained

By the end of the course you will understand crane operations, be able to perform pre-use inspections and apply correct slinging techniques. You’ll also be able to identify defects or hazards and safely operate cranes while using the correct PPE.
