Why take this course?

This training is designed for anyone with experience in transporting dangerous goods by air who wants to update their knowledge and skills in line with the latest industry practices and regulations. Our course is approved by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

What You Will Learn

The CAA Dangerous Goods Regulations
Understand and apply the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, this can be the second bullet point on the list
Classes, UN Numbers, proper shipping names and packing groups for dangerous materials
Limitations
Classification of dangerous goods according to the type of hazard and degree of danger
Identification of proper shipping names for dangerous goods
Understand and apply the information contained in the List of Dangerous Goods.
Correctly pack dangerous goods in the appropriate packaging.
Marking and Labeling packages containing dangerous goods
Document shipments of dangerous goods
Accept or Reject a shipment based on above
Appropriately handle and stow dangerous goods

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Did the 5 day forklift training course and thought it was really good from start to finish. John was a great instructor, explained everything clearly and got the balance between theory and practical spot on.
The practical side was really well set up too, with plenty of different exercises and some good challenging setups like chicanes and tighter manoeuvres, so you were actually learning how to control the forklift properly rather than just going through the motions.
By the end of the week I felt confident that I could operate a forklift safely and properly. Would definitely recommend Rizon Training and John to anyone looking to do their forklift training.
